Getting ready for our first gletschertour in Pralognan, France (1997 ?). It was a great experience and we made some more in later years.

Above:(1) hiking up to a hut for a short sleep, followed by a spectacular crossing of a gletscher near Pralognan (France). A marvelous tour in the mountains !
(2) view from above on Pralognan and the (protected) parc 'Haute Vanoise', where we had beautifull walks.

Below: view on Pontresina (Switserland) during a walk. Pontresina (camping site on 1600 m altitude) is near st. Moritz and everywhere you can see there are high peaks with snow on top.
